Freedom in cultural-spiritual life

An objective essential is freedom in spiritual life. This means that intellectual life must also be organized autonomously, and all educational institutions must be freed from state administration. Public schools run by the state cannot exist in a healthy social organism; they will always produce social diseases. Likewise, universities cannot be public corporations whose funding and, above all, control of content is influenced in any way by the state, the Rockefeller family or otherwise. The freedom of schools, research and science is the great goal needed here, and that means the freedom of the individual, such as educators. It also means freedom for doctors and therapists, as well as for patients. A health care system run by the state, Brussels or globalist organizations such as the WHO, as is the case today, inevitably causes social disease.

What is spiritual life at the level of the individual?

It is the world of man’s thought and these are his faculties and talents.

Spiritual life is life in the spiritual world – the world of thought. In man, this spiritual life enters the consciousness through the brain, is reflected there, so to speak, and emerges as “spiritual life”. This is what we mean by the spiritual life here below, which manifests itself in daily life, in the private and social spheres, but which is first effective in the private sphere (personal point of view).

“What someone does for himself in the area of spiritual life will remain completely his personal affair. »

Rudolf Steiner

But this is also valid from a spiritual point of view. That is to say, our thoughts are also active forces in this spiritual sphere and from there they have a retroactive effect on our reality.

What is the spiritual life at the social level?

This manifests itself mainly in art, education, instruction, science and religion.

It concerns all organizations which directly serve the spiritual life of society – mental, spiritual and physical health, education and development: Kindergartens, parents, schools, academies, universities, educational establishments, museums, theatres, healthcare health, hospitals, media,…

But it also concerns individual work in economic life and intellectual activity in legal life. Here we always distinguish the individual human being from the organizations within which his activity of the mind is carried out. The spiritual life is always individual, especially when it comes to decisions. Judgments and decisions in the spiritual life are therefore always made individually.

Freedom at the level of the individual

Man is free from the moment he acquires, from pure knowledge, a free motive to decide what he wants to act. The motive and the causes of the motive should be aware.

Freedom and autonomy of corporate bodies

First of all, it is always about freedom within the formal framework (possibilities) of an individual: educator, doctor, journalist, scientist, priest, etc., as long as it does not collide with the legal life and serves the good of the whole…

  • Educational Freedom : Parents freely decide how to educate children, as do educators.
  • freedom in education : educators, instructors, trainers, professors, etc. freely decide how to teach children.
  • freedom in health care : Doctors, therapists, etc. freely decide on the type of diagnosis and therapy. Patients decide freely on the choice of therapists, cures, diagnosis and therapy.
  • freedom in the media : Journalists, etc. freely decide on content and media coverage.
  • freedom in the arts : artists decide freely on the content of their works.
  • Freedom of Jurisprudence : criminal law judges freely decide their sentences.
  • freedom in science : scientists decide freely on their methods of research and work, insofar as they serve the good of humanity.
  • religious freedom : Each person is free to believe what they think is right, as long as it does not harm the good of the whole.

So, can there be “free schools”? No. Only schools, as organizations, provide a formal framework and thus give educators the possibility of being free in their pedagogy. It is always a question of individual choices of educators.

The freedom of intellectual life is therefore always the freedom of the individual.

Organizations in the field of spiritual life obviously cannot place themselves outside the legal framework, but on the other hand they have their own administration and are therefore independent of the political decisions of a State.

The social tri-articulation designates a real division of society into three autonomous bodies managed independently, where the State is only one of the three bodies.
